Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing - My set turned up with the wrong bag and challah/bread cover - one for Yom Tov, not Shabbat. - The wine bottle is a cheap plastic one despite the description claiming that the set is wooden/MDF. I have the Havdalah set with an almost identical bottle that is wooden, so why the cheap plastic in this one? It ruins the set! - One of the candlesticks is chipped. - The challah/bread also is not wood, and feels like some sort of heavy ceramic or plastic. The velcro pads peeled off the pieces when first taken apart. A lovely idea for a toy set but sadly, very disappointing quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A gift that every Jewish grandmother should buy! I bought this set for my three year old granddaughter. Both she and I are thrilled with it. The shipping took longer than I expected, but the company made it right in the end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We love our Shabbat Toy Set When I started by baby registery, one thing that went right on the registry was Kid Kraft's Shabbat Set. As observant Jews, we wanted to make sure we pass along our traditions to our children and giving them the opportunity to observe how we observe and perform rituals as we perform them is the best way. This set only comes out on Shabbat (Friday night to Saturday night) and then it's put away for the week and conversely, we put away any toys that make noise or are electronic on Shabbat. David always looks forward to his 'bat toys and it makes it extra special. He has learned the beginnings of the brachot (blessings) and mimics how we do them. This set is all wooden (with the exception of the wine bottle which is plastic) and include two candlesticks, two candles, a wine cup, a wine bottle, a challah board and knife, two mini challot (braided bread) that are velcroed together so you can "cut" them, a challah cover, siddur (prayer book), and bag to contain it all! I highly recommend this set but #momhack - I used a sharpie to letter and number the challah pieces so I could put them back together correctly and easily! (One loaf is A B C D E F and the other is 1 2 3 4 5 6) This review originally appeared here - https://parental.guidanceguide.com/dress-up-pretend-play/reviews/shabbat-toy-set-b705d57d2309

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ideal for a Jewish classroom Wonderful set for my classroom. Paint is starting to chip a little (after a few weeks) but it’s great for play and learning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for the Tot's Shabbat Exactly what I was hoping it would be for my son's Shabbat Fridays. Only issue was the glue holding the Velcro on both loaves of challah came off and I had to repair them before allowing my son to play with it. Fortunately, crafting glue worked perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love to cut the challah My grandchildren (18 months and 3 years) love this set and find it easy to 'cut' the challah. My only comment is to make it easier to correctly re-assemble the loaves... they will never be the same!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shabbat All The Time My children loved to have their own shabbat set when they were young. They did Shabbat right along with us and then again and again and again. This is a great toy to build tradition in a child.
