DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding my recent purchase of the "Grand View Mansion Dollhouse with EZ Kraft Assembly" for my daughter just before Christmas. The item cost $286.
Upon opening the box on Christmas Eve, my family and I were eager to set up the dollhouse for my daughter to enjoy on Christmas morning. Unfortunately, our excitement quickly turned into disappointment as we encountered several issues with the product:
Missing Locating Dowels: The dollhouse was missing crucial locating dowels, rendering us unable to assemble the product properly.
Poor Quality: We were extremely underwhelmed with the overall quality of the dollhouse. The decals were already de-laminating, and the floors were noticeably bowed. This was unexpected, especially given the significant investment we made in the product, hoping it would withstand our daughter's play and future use.
Given the aforementioned issues and concerns, we decided that returning the item would be the best course of action. However, we were shocked to learn that we would be responsible for the return shipping costs. The only FedEx location in Adelaide provided us with quotes ranging from $180 to $220 for the return to NSW. Considering the initial cost of the dollhouse, this added expense is both exorbitant and unreasonable.
I immediately contacted your support center twice via email, expressing our concerns and requesting assistance with the return shipping costs. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive any response from your team.
This lack of communication and the refusal to cover the return shipping costs are not only disappointing but also unfair. As customers who have invested in your product with the expectation of quality and durability, we feel let down and frustrated by the overall experience.
Think before ordering a Dollhouse from this company!

Wouldn’t recommend for use with Barbies.
I brought this as a Christmas gift to my 6 yr old daughter. Upon assembly, my husband and I noticed the floor decking was very flimsy and Boeing, decals were already chipping off, and the accessories weren’t the quality I expected. I reached out to kidcraft and they offered to replace the floor pieces but my husband said if he had to take it all apart again we were just going to return it. This would’ve also meant my daughter wouldn’t have had her main gift in time for Christmas. So we reluctantly gifted it to her as is. As she’s playing we she noticed that her Barbie didn’t fit in the bath tub or chairs. We tried rainbow high doll as well as LOL dolls and had the mass problem except with the “tween” doll. This just is not the quality we were expecting for a kidkraft product as many thing as kids own is kidkraft.

Kidkraft Grandview Mansion
Huge, very well-made small doll or Barbie house. It's made of wood, not plastic; it can be wiped off when dirty or disinfecting. The instruction booklet that came with it can be confusing as there are a few in between steps that should be mentioned. For example, it would be much easier if it better explained which way certain pieces went so that you dont have to unscrew something bc it's upside down. We had to backtrack a few times bc pieces should have been on a certain side, etc. Call attention to those details that can be missed, just looking at pictures. The 3D instructions through the app Bilt really helped a lot, but you still had to use the book to know which screws to use. Include that in the video, so you only need one or the other. Also, when putting in the separate floors, there will be two that don't have joints to attach to the sides in those steps. They will come later when attaching the two rooms on the outside of the main frame of the house. It should be mentioned then so you dont waste time looking for the screws or think you have missing pieces.

very easy to follow. 3d is easy to visualize, also its actual product imags i nstead of black and white diagram on paper instructions that came with product. truly brilliant app. occasionaly i get popup saying download failed. but the download completed fine

Lovely dollhouse
The dollhouse was pretty simple to assemble. It took about 2 hours. My daughter loves it. Some of the pieces don’t fit together perfectly but overall a great dollhouse!
