Sturdy
We bought this last Christmas, I have three boys. I opted for something they wouldn’t be able to scoot around and this foots the bill. Also love that the chairs don’t get moved around… amazing. My husband did use wood glue when putting together so I don’t know if that made a huge difference. Easy to clean too!

Great Idea, Poor construction
I so badly wanted this table to work. Every other day the screws need to be tightened because they have somehow come loose. The the tabletop lifts off from the rest of the table as do the tops of the seats. I have several KidKraft items and have always been please with the products. This is the first time I’ve had a problem.

Missing all the hardware
2 stars because i can’t build it. I opened the box and there is no hardware. I took all the pieces out because it can be under it all but no.

WASTE OF MONEY
HUGE WASTE OF MONEY purchasing this table!!!! It is very cheaply made. The locking pegs do not stay locked. The dowl rod for the benches are to short only could you two rubber washers (one per seat). Lasted 1 day until the bench seat broke off by an 18 month old.

Great Choice!
I bought this for my granddaughter’s second birthday. It shipped and arrived quickly without any defects. My son-in-law assembled it very easily. Having read many of the product’s online reviews before purchasing I took the suggestion of a reviewer to cover the tabletop to protect against scissors, scratches, markers, and crayons. For this purpose (and easy cleaning!) I bought a vinyl/flannel-backed tablecloth. This set appears to offer durability and functionality. My granddaughter loves it!
