Literally. The. Coolest
This is one of the coolest thing I think we have ever done. The kids have been OBSESSED with this since I've gotten it built. The instructions were easy to follow and the wife and I were able to build it in about 3 hours or so, but I absolutely loved building this, and the kids play in it every second they get. So far it has held up well sitting outside with the weather, and honestly, even thinking about putting flooring in it because it gives such a great frame to build on as well. My whole family couldn't be happier with this product.

Cute and sturdy
This house is definitely made out of sturdy materials- the box was quite heavy! It took some time to get it put together, but it's very cute and simple. My 3 yr old loves having her own little spot in the backyard. The indoor kitchen and outdoor bench are cute touches!

Awesome playhouse
This playhouse is really nice. The construction instructions were decent. The first few steps are actually already done so you start like from step 4 or something. With the right tools it took me about 3 hours to assemble. Some parts definitely helps to have a second set of hands, not because it's heavy but just so they can help hold the piece while I put in the first screw. Love the working doorbell and the kitchen. We actually took some liberty and adjusted the location of certain things. Which is super easy to do since it's all just wood pieces. Overall I'm really pleased with this playhouse.

My kids are obsessed!!!
This Pioneer Cottage playhouse from Kidkraft is absolutely adorable. My kids were so ecstatic when we set this up for them. It was pretty simple to build with the included instructions and didn't take very long at all. My kids have been playing in it everyday since we put it together. They loved the little kitchen and the accessories it came with. They can pretend play and love making food serving each other out the windows. It has a cute bench they can sit on and the picket fence is such a nice touch. It even has a working doorbell and they enjoy climbing through the crawl space and so does our dog. It's the perfect size for my little ones and has plenty of space for them to play. They have said this is their favorite outside toy now and play in it for hours at a time. It's durable and I can tell will last for a long time.

Nice, with some big drawbacks
I love KidKraft products. They tend to be very nicely made, durable, and my kids love playing on the. And this pioneer cottage checks most of those boxes with a couple exceptions. Starting with assembly: the materials are the typical outdoor rated cedar, able to withstand the elements. They're very lightweight, which is a good thing and a bad thing. I found several pieces that were warped or are already splitting, pieces that did not fit together the way they were supposed to, and just a general lack of consistency across all parts. Assembly took a little bit longer than expected because of these issues, certain screws did not fit in adjoining holes very well. Aesthetically, the cottage is awesome. My kids love it and have a lot of fun. I just wish that the materials were a little bit better and quality control was a little bit more stringent.

Kids love it
My wife and I have recently been looking for another activity space for our kids to enjoy. Now that it's not so cold in Texas we tried this cottage out and it's amazing. Super easy to put together and both my daughter and son love it! Highly recommended!

Great playhouse / lengthy assembly
This is far better than any plastic playhouse that I have seen. The materials were surprisingly good. The packaging was very good, which kept anything from being damaged in transit. It did take a lot longer than expected to assemble (and would be helpful with 2 people and access to drill and hand tools), but in the end it looks and functions great! Our daughter is thoroughly enjoying it!

Lot's of Fun and Easy to Setup
The playhouse was super easy to setup. My wife and I were able to get it put together and are still happily married. So that's something.House is easily big enough for two kids. Feels sturdy and has lots of little things for them to play with.
