Impossible lid
Assembly was super easy until it came to the lid. There is no notch cut in the lid wood so it’s impossible to get the hinge attached flush. Due to this, it was almost impossible to attach the screw hinges even with 2 people. It took my husband and I over an hour to get the lid on. We had to attach the piston first to support the lid and then hold it at an angle while awkwardly screwing the lid to the hinges. I cut my finger badly in the process. Now I’m resentful and don’t even want to use the thing.

Love Mid-Century Modern Style
This Mid-Century Kid toy box is adorable! I got it to put some of my kids toys in the living room. It’s was pretty simple to put together. I did it myself and it took about 45 min - one hour. It was packaged very nicely and nothing was damaged in transit. Very happy with this purchase!

Durable, decent size, fits lots of toys
I’ve had this toy box for a month now and so far… I adore it! Exactly as described. Decent size (fits a good amount of toys, etc). Hubby put it together for me. Love how our toy box is off the floor and serves for multipurpose use. We have the toy box next to our couch so, we use the top to place our drinks too. Last thing, It’s contemporary and goes with our home theme.
