Many missing or broken pieces
This product is OK it’s made out of very soft wood that splits easily in most of the holes are not pre-drilled On the livery the box was smashed and a few pieces were broken which I had to wait a few weeks to get replacements for and then once I started putting it together I noticed they were missing pieces which I had to wait a few weeks to get the replacements and then when I get closer to the end of my project I had vital pieces like handlebars missing and flat brace panels which are vital to keep it together overall it was just not the best quality for the price I paid all the pieces warped from waiting so long we had to force pieces together and I had them covered with tarps it was just a very stressful project that I thought I could do in a few days Turned into two months of a project and the summers over and now the contact is it next year I was very disappointed in this purchase but my kids love it.

Buy it!
Great play set, and absolutely can’t beat it for the money. It was a pretty long build, but not overly complicated

Delivery
I was delivered damaged pieces upon arrival. The delivery guy said he would call the company and they should call me back. I noted on the receipt I signed electronically that delivered in bad condition. I never heard back. I also would like to mention I had to unload the truck, load my car with the items and drive them up the driveway to my house. He could not figure out how to use the proper equipment to unload the heavy boxes. I was unimpressed with the service. The playground itself I have no complaints.

Beat summer purchase
Absolutely obsessed!! Could not be more thrilled about it- and very happy we hired professionals to put it together- it took 6 hours with 2 contractors who have done this exact swing set before. I can’t imagine how long it would have taken my husband and I.

A few helpful installation hints.
I can't say enough nice things about this product. The materials are all high quality, the instructions are very clear and detailed, and the kids LOVE it. I'm reasonably handy and I estimate it took me 40 hours to complete, without any assistance. A few things I would add/emphasize to the comments that are already here:Sort your lumber and hardware before you start, and then grab what you need for each step. Do yourself a favor and don't skip this step. Additional required tools: an impact driver, and at least 2 quick-release clamps. The driver will save you hours in the aggregate by almost completely eliminating the need to drill pilot holes. The clamps can serve the role of assistant on most steps (but really, you should have help attaching the swing assembly, and assembling the twisty slide.)Additional step not included in the manual: ground prep. Unless you have a perfectly flat yard (and you probably don't), you need to create a ~40 sf pad for the main structure to sit on. I did this by tilling up the grass and tamping down about 12 bags of crushed stone paver base. That step added about 6 hours of labor including the trip to Lowes for the material (~$50). I think step 48 (installing the nest ladder) is out of sequence. Unless you can prevent (*with 100% certainty*) any kids from accessing the structure while it is under construction, you should not install the nest ladder until after the nest walls are fully installed in step 61. (The problem is, when you get to step 48, the lower 2 levels, slide, and swing are fully operational, and your kids have long since discovered those elements). Alternatively, don't start step 48 unless you can guarantee not to stop until step 61. And that's a lot of work for a DIYer in one session. I did 48 after 61 and there's no constructability reason not to do it that way.I also want to give a shout out to the sustainability coordinator at Kidkraft: given the amount of material shipped, there was surprisingly little packaging, and most of it was recyclable. A lot of people out here appreciate that!

Excellent playset
This is a beautiful playset for the price. It took my 65 year old father and I a couple of weeks to put it together because we only did about an hour a day. You definitely need two people to read directions and get lumber/hardware with each step. First day we took an hour just to lay out all the lumber into appropriate piles. All in all it was pretty easy to put together if you're good at reading directions. It does take the amount of hours stated in description. My kids absolutely LOVE this set.
