It's five-alarm fun with the Hilltop Playset from KidKraft. The cool fireman's pole provides another level of activity to this three-story fort. Spend some time make-believing in the lower-level playhouse. A BBQ grill with food and utensils gets the creative juices flowing. Climb the rock wall ladder up to the next level and try a game of tic-tac-toe with a friend. From this level, there are two slide options—a twisty tube slide or double straight slide for racing. Ascend to the crow's nest and feel the breeze while you navigate play with the moveable telescope. Back on the ground, get those legs moving with two belt swings and a trapeze swing for acrobatic moves. Bring excitement to the backyard terrain with the KidKraft Hilltop Playset.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alligurl27 from Great Playset even for Older kids I’m a 5’3” 100 lbs woman and built this playset on my own (except for help from my husband lifting the roof and the third story railing to the top) over the course of a week, working a few hours each day with interruptions from kids, weather, and life. I have no special carpentry skills or background, just basic understanding of how to use some basic tools and am good at reading directions. The Built app helped clarify the written instructions that came with the set, which were easy to follow. Only the twisty slide and the third story railing gave me some trouble lining up parts, but I was able to easily adjust it and redrill some holes. I agree with other reviewers that putting the upper ladder in the middle as directed leaves little room for big kids to fit around so I placed mine up against the edge by the fire pole. The kids have to watch their heads when climbing to the top, but they would need to anyway. My 4-year-old and tall 7-year-old love it and have room to grow into it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by alpal22 from Amazing for the Price Bought this 2 Years ago and my children have loved it. Unfortunately a brutal windstorm (150KM gusts) leveled the playset. It was hard to see it tip over. I am fairly certain I can salvage it and keep it working. I am still giving this a 5 Star rating because it is exceptional especially for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Handy-Dad-of-5 from Great playset great playset! a little small for my larger child (over 10) but he still loves it and the little ones have a great time as well! Construction went well, but it does take a lot of time. everything was will labeled and with a little bit of organization in the beginning, everything went smoothly. I did have one spot where I had to drill out some holes that didn't quite line up. but otherwise it went together as the instructions indicated.

Rated 1 out of 5 by therealex from stress free - seriously? this swing set is an absolute horror to build. pieces don't line up, some pieces did not have pre-drilled holes when they were supposed to, the instructions must be used with the app or else you are in big trouble. it's no wonder it costs almost as much to have a professional put it together as the swing set itself costs. be prepared to give up a couple of weeks of your life, full-time, to build this thing. it wouldn't take nearly as long if it was laid out better, and there was better quality control.

Rated 5 out of 5 by pjs from grand children love the play structure Very impressed with quality of materials and the engineering that was done to develop the structure. Found only one pilot hole not done. Some wood was very dry and bit brittle so essential to drill the pilot holes. I would definitely purchase another if it was needed. For the price, you cannot design get materials and build this play structure so a great value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by pjs from looks great, be careful of the ground covering lots of work to assemble this unit, the one question they don't address is how they recommend accommodating for a 12 inches substrate, like rubber or bark mulch, this design and instructions are for a hard surface installation. I raised the whole thing up 10 inches so had to add additional supports so the base would not be buried by the mulch I added.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mom2365 from Great, with a few minor improvements We’ve had this for about a year and we’re pleased with it. Yes it has faded a bit in the sun, but we have a South-facing yard so it’s to be expected. Was fairly easy to assemble with two people. Kids love it. What would make this playset better is extra handles on the sides of the ladder going up to the top level, and a steering wheel up in the top level. My kids were scared to come down off of the ladder from the top because they had nothing to hand on to. I screwed in 4 handles for them and now it’s not a problem (see photo attached). Also we put in a steering wheel up top for another feature since it’s fairly bare up there.

Is the wood pressure treated? Will it last for a reasonably long time (3 years at least)
At the factory we have coated the wood with a water repellent or stain. This coating decreases the amount of water absorption during rain or snow thus decreasing the tension in the wood. Sunlight will break down the coating, so we recommend applying a water repellent or stain on a yearly basis (see your local stain and paint supplier for a recommended product).-The KidKraft Customer Care Team #05001

Can the playset be assembled without the tube slide? Does it affect the stableness of it if we do not put that up?
The playset is designed and safety tested to be assembled as shown only. Any modifications made to the original product could damage the structural integrity of the unit leading to failure and possible injury. Thank you!-The KidKraft Customer Care Team #03001

What is the distance from the outer-most edge of the tube slide to the starting point of the fort? I'm not looking for the inner width of the tube, which has previously been provided as 24", I'm looking for the width of the space the slide takes up.
The distance is 49.1".-The KidKraft Customer Care Team #04004
