Rated 5 out of 5 by #1 Dad from Great product. Looks great. I will begin by saying this took a full week and 4 battery charges to my drill to asssemble myself. It's not it's not difficult, but time consuming. Make sure to inventory wood pieces, and lay them out in the order you will assemble it. I organized the screws and other pieces by letter in a separate area. The twisting slide was the most difficult, so it's beneficial to have a helping hand for this step. Overall, it's a long process that is sure to make you frustrated, but the end result is worth it. The kids love it and it looks great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TxDad from Sturdy Product. Missing Parts. First off, the product, once assembled, is very sturdy. Very attractive product and high quality parts. Now, for the bad. Upon arrival, I unpacked the boxes, only to find that all of the nuts, bolts, and screws were missing. So, I contacted Kid Kraft by phone and they had the parts delivered overnight. Finally begin assembly, only to find later that the heavy brackets for the swing set were missing.Time will tell now if they can fulfill this portion of the order as expeditiously (ordered online as I could not get a hold of them by phone). So far I am very happy with the product after assembly, however, the inventory control related to packing and delivery could use some work. Thank you, Kid Kraft, for your prompt customer service response. Please address the other issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Steven from Good end result - frustrating assembly Very pleased with the end result, as are my kids. With that said, the assembly was quite frustrating. I did assemble my set on very slightly unlevel ground, so I knew that would cause some problems eventually. I would recommend going through the trouble beforehand to make sure your ground is as level as you can get it. Toward the end of the assembly, we had to take some "creative liberties" to get things to line up just right. Several trips to Lowes/Home Depot to buy missing hardware were necessary. Overall I am happy with the product. Next time I would probably pay for the assembly. Although, I would assume the paid assembler would encounter some of the same issues and I would rather know the corners that I cut are simply cosmetic (not safety related) vs not knowing what corners someone else took which may affect the safe use of the play set - if that makes sense....

Rated 5 out of 5 by April J from Happy we didn’t listen to reviews We were nervous based on reviews of others having such a difficult time putting it together and missing parts. We had no parts missing and my husband had it up 95% by himself in about 4 full days, I helped hold up the swing part. He is a handy guy but not a contractor or anything like that. The set itself is sturdy and the kids 1&2 love it, 1 year old has some difficulty getting up the ladder but he will grow into that in a few months. Overall very pleased with the product. We had a gorilla brand last year and this is comparable quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Frustrated from Needlessly complicated... Let me start by saying that I'm an engineer & mechanically inclined. This unit is needlessly complicated. I've assembled other Kid Kraft products so I thought I knew what I was getting into, lots of parts & different fasteners. I didn't expect the random hodge-podge of parts, numbers, and fasteners to also be in no order, or coherent numbering system. The parts are put into all the different boxes randomly to fit, and they have random numbers in no order.. Step 1 is to inventory the parts. That took nearly 4 hours. Not because it is difficult to check parts off a list, because they aren't sequential, nor is the inventory list... Instead of opening box 1 and checking off parts 1 - 50, box 1 has part 061, 411, 043, 074, 153, and the inventory list for box 1 spans 6 pages in no order. Same goes for all the other boxes and parts... The wood parts have a stamp on the end grain of the wood, some are legible, most aren't. So time is wasted trying to read them and if there are more than 1 of a part, a lot of time is spent looking through boxes to find the others. It says to sort all parts by each step to save time... most of that "sorting" should have been done by the manufacturer, to do that "sorting", I would need an acre of land. I would have to take one of the 59 DIFFERENT fasteners, remove it from its bag and put it into another bag labeled for that step, and combine that with all of the other parts and fasteners for every one of those steps. That should be done by the manufacturer... rather than giving me 59 different bags with random quantities of fasteners in each, and having me compile it, give me a bag that says STEP 5 parts. Steps are missing in the instructions, parts are missing or damaged, steps say to build one assembly when you need 2... just find out later some parts are over engineered, and others are under engineered, and they are often combined. I can go on & on about this. I contacted Kid Kraft repeatedly with little or no help...

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rachel from Worth it! My husband is very handy and was able to build this mostly alone in 2 days. I was able to separate out the steps for him and he did the building. Instructions were easy to follow and the pieces were well labeled. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 is that a couple of the wood pieces are either cracked or chipped in a way that we had to fully sand them down so my boys wouldn’t get splinters. It’s sturdy, fun, and adorable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by elora from great swingset We finally installed this in our yard after quite a bit of hard work installing but so worth it in the end. Knowing your kids are in a strong safe and sturdy play set. We are at total ease when the kids (or adults) play on it. would highly recommend, worth every penny

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sandra from Adventure ridge swingset My kids, 8 and 2 love the swingset! It did take my husband with the help of a friend about a week to finish on and off due to rain. I gave it four stars because we loved the swingset but not the prize very much.
