Roomy but..
Nice and big, great for 1/6 dolls (Barbie-sized). Even the sofa was not too small. Arrived with some damage to wallpaper and floor paper. Magnetic wallpapers DO NOT stick! I used double sided tape in the corners & mid-top/bottom.

Good for the price!! Fun and sturdy!
The dollhouse is nice and large and the magnetic aspect is really cool! I would have given five stars if one of the pieces didn’t arrive already broken and chipped on the corner and the extra backgrounds don’t magnetize that well! But otherwise it’s perfect and my five year old little girl loves it!!

Magnetic interchangeable backgrounds don't stick
My 4-yr. old niece is constantly imagining their own make-believe scenarios, and because she is engaging in "pretend play" now more than ever, I was excited to begin supporting & purchasing KidKraft products. Recently I've purchased:
KidKraft Magnetic dollhouse
KidKraft Farm to Table kitchen
Last night, my father and I put together the dollhouse and I couldn't have been more disappointed. First, putting the dollhouse together is not a simple snap and click, and that's o.k. as my dad and I enjoy putting together toys for my niece; but the cardboard/composite wood was cheap, and there were several screws that were a PAIN to put in! It had to do with the pre-drilled holes not being deep enough. With some effort, and a cordless screwdriver we were able to get them all in. Last, but most importantly, the interchangeable fabric backgrounds don’t stick at all to the composite wood backgrounds. The interchangeable fabric backgrounds are advertised as being magnetic, it's the main reason I bought this dollhouse; but they are not. They don't stick. This is incredibly disappointing!

Niece loves it....
Gave this to my niece (just under 3yo) and she's already a big fan. Her dad assembled it in a span of only a few minutes, super easy. She started drawing on the inter-changeable pictures before we realized they're meant to slide in as the background. Her drawing skills are age-appropriate for her so it may not be as representative as an older kid getting to draw a nice background :). The panel is made of particle-board not solid wood which was a little surprising. It does make it really light but also be careful getting any liquid near it as it'll absorb into the particle board really fast.

Very fun and adaptable and open for multiple kids can play. Our loves playing with her dolls and it almost looks like a little sorority house. When she leaves my boys turn this into "Fort Dragon" and put their actiion figures and army men inside. It feels very sturdy.

I got the Kid Kraft Color Decor dollhouse for my 5 yr old and it is a really fun concept. The dollhouse itself does require some assembly. It looks overwhelming at first but really isn’t bad once you get started. The house is a good size, not gigantic like some but big enough to be able to fit fun furniture pieces and dolls. It comes with a some great basic furniture. The part that makes this toy different is that the back wall is made of a large “coloring book.” The covers can be opened and used as the back walls to each room or you can flip the pages and your child can color all the different pages and design the rooms themself. The covers are thick and make the back wall sturdy when attached and changing to different pages is really easy.
