We bought this for our 4 yr old Granddaughter. I have purchasec and assembled toy sets before but this, by far was the best designed and
organized kit I 've ever tackled. Acutally had fun putting it together. Kudos to your design team.

Manufacturer has downgraded product.
This product has been modified by the manufacturer to a different "style" now called 53260G (previously just 53260). This is not reflected in the product information at all as of the time of this review. I have added a picture of the new version that they are currently shipping. This modified style is a significant downgrade with multiple obvious cost cutting measures that make the product appear substantially cheaper than what is currently pictured. Several of the downgrades are listed below.
1. The metallic finish on the sink faucet and support post are now just plain gray plastic pieces.
2. The chalk board is now simply painted on the freezer door with no physical outer frame, just a flat painted border.
3. The pegs to hold utensils and the lower portion of the backing above the stove have been removed.
4. The curved edges on the wood on the top of the refrigerator and on the bottom edges of the base are now just sharp corners (The older rounded edges looked safer).
5. The rounded upward cuts on the base for style are no longer present, just flat bottom edges.
6. The paper towel holder spindle is no longer painted silver, but rather unfinished wood.
7. Paper towel mounting brackets are no longer wood, but now a very cheap plastic.
Virtually every piece will arrive with scratches and various cosmetic defects. The box will still say 53260 on it in large print, but if you read the fine print you will find that added G hidden on a different label on the box as well as printed on the instruction manual. It took 1 hour and 40 min to assemble. It is sturdy enough to stand on its own, but it also feels like it might not survive the trip downstairs for my daughter for Christmas.

Doors Break
The kitchen is great, except the doors break and I can't order replacement doors because I don't have a part number which they put on the box that you throw away. Stupid setup, it's literally this very kitchen, why can't you replace the doors?

Can't Stand This Assembly from
Are you KIDDING ME?!
We seen this and thought our toddler would love it. Then we tried to assemble it. Nope. After 6 hours of trying to decipher the last few pages of instructions, we threw it out. If you pay this much for something, it shouldn't be this hard to assemble. The assembly directions use pictures, not words, so you end up putting pieces together and then realize you were suppose to attach something else first. It wouldn't be that big of a deal of it didn't require 30 mins to fix one thing. Too many bolts and screws and nuts to undo, and then redo. Also, some of the hardware stripped out (those long screws with barrels). Never ever will we again purchase any of your products.

Love it. Instructions leave a lot to be desired.
I purchased the Uptown KidKraft Kitchen in the “natural” finish. I want to start by saying this kitchen is awesome! I got it for my daughter’s 3rd birthday present and she was ecstatic. My 5 year old daughter also likes playing with it. One of the reasons I picked this set was because of the height; it’s considered a “large” kitchen set and is taller than some of the comparable kitchen sets which was important to me because both my girls are on the tall side. The details on the kitchen set are great, including the fact that the oven and stove top knobs turn and click, the water faucet handle moves, there’s actually a fridge and a freezer, the burners on the stove top are realistic, and there’s even a towel rack. The product was well packaged and arrived promptly. Even with the good packaging there were two damaged pieces. Luckily it did not affect assembly (as I procrastinated and didn’t put it together until the night before her birthday) and KidKraft promptly sent me the replacement parts to change out the damaged pieces.
The main disadvantage to the kitchen set is the amount of time it takes to put together; it took me 3&1/2 hours to complete. For the most part I assembled it by myself; I did need some help at the end to hold pieces in place as I put the top pieces on. Part of the long assembly time has to do with the poor instructions; they are pictures only, no words. And the pictures aren’t very detailed/accurate so sometimes you are not sure what end or side of the board you are working on or which step you should start with. Also some of the screws/fasteners have colored tops (as they go on the outside of the kitchen set) and others are silver. But they are marked with the same letter. So unless you have a vision of what it’s going to look like it can be hard to determine if you should use the colored screws/fasteners or the silver screws/fasteners. There was one place that didn’t quite line up correctly which is the top edge/side panel where the dishwasher is, it sticks out slighter farther than the counter top. But it’s pretty minor and not enough of a blemish/issue to have me take away a star from my review.
I am so glad I purchased this kitchen. This was given to my daughter in May and we have had no issues with it. It is sturdy and has great detail and my kids have played with it almost every day since it was given.

Leider schlechte Verarbeitung
Sehr schade.
