Rated 1 von 5 von Irene aus Damaged After I assembled the toy box I noticed damage on the lid which appears to have been damaged in a factory as it was glossed over with a clear paint to cover the damage and there is damage to the rear front facing panel which consists of a paint chip. The product looks used with this damage and it is brand new.

This is a great box to put them in out of the way. Also doesnt slam shut on little fingers. Very easy to put together well thats what my brother said :-)

How much weight can the bench seat?

I have bought two of these, one for each Grand nephew. The first I one bought in blue 4 years ago. The boy is now 5 years, and its made very sturdy he sits on top of it and they put stuff on top of it extra toys etc. Pounds I'm not sure but he is now 5, not an overweight boy, just normal at that age (40-50-lbs) its made really, really well, thick wood, not thin. Like I said, I bought another one for his brother since I was so impressed with how well its made. The lid has a slow shutting hinge which was important to me for so small he wouldn't get his fingers pinched while getting a toy out. I would think you would not let a teenager sit on it or an adult but a small child would be fine. I hope this helps but this is a 10 out of 10 for me on quality and assembly.

On average how long before the odor of the paint or wood goes away? It was giving me such a headache last night. If not raining I will put back outside.
