Sub par manufacturing!!
I purchased for my daughter for Christmas, took me a half a day off and on to build it. Brand new boards came cracked and some parts didn't line up. Wherever you build it plan to leave it there. It is hollow and heavy enough to break if it's shifted in any direction while moving to final destination. After a few months outside the wood swells up and separates. Now I have to drill additional screws in it and add other board to fortify and stabilize.I recommend for indoor use only.

Boards were not drilled correctly
It took around six hours to put together, and most of the boards were not drilled correctly so that required more time to fix. The playhouse is cute when done, but I wouldn’t recommend buying for this price when the product wasn’t perfect.

Adorable - Not the best quality, but good enough
I purchased this after reading lots of reviews and understanding what I was buying. It's adorable, takes some time to put together, and while I wouldn't categorize it as "well made" I think it's working great for what we need it for (a playhouse for my toddler that will be used for the next 3-5 years). She loves it, and I love that it's not an eye sore in the backyard. The pieces were all labeled, making it way easier to put together. The table top did arrive damaged, but it was easy to add an extra screw to put it back together. I added a coat of paint and a corrugated metal roof to hopefully make it last a little longer against the elements. We'll see how it holds up but my daughter loves it and the extra features are adorable (mailbox, BBQ, chalkboard, curtains, and table all a big hit).

Poor Quality/Customer Service
Purchased this for my granddaughters, but upon assembling it we discovered that the chalkwood had glue droplets all over it and one of the wood-framed sides wasn't even painted. Since we didnt start assembling it til after the 90-day warranty, KidKraft wanted to not only charge $10 for another chalkboard, but an additional $20 for shipping! $30 to replace a DEFECTIVE chalkboard is outrageous!!! Lost any stars that I might otherwise have given.

Quality + Assembly = Awful
My daughter loves that’s the best thing. The bad includes: horrible paint job, pieces have to be modified to make it fit, conflicting information from the very pleasant customer service reps and questionable quality.
Beware when you buy.
Any suggestions on fixing always appreciated.
Wonder if the CEO has put together one of these houses?

Well built playhouse
Damage to the shipping box but all materials were intact and undamaged. Took 2 people to build in about 3-4 hours. Built on top of pavers to keep it level. Grand daughter loves it, inspires a lot of imaginary play. Would recommend.

Definitely recommend. Great for indoor or outdoor
Good instructions and easy to follow. The parts are well organized in the shipping box and individually marked for easier setup.
Total build time was about 4.5 hours. Recommend using an electric screw driver (instead of a drill) to quickly assemble the parts without worrying about overdriving screws and bolts.

Poor customer service
I brought the play house for my grandchildren for Christmas. The front door is damaged, missing hinges part #39. It a been a month since I have contacted Kidkraft and all I received from customer service is computer generated emails!!! No new front door or the missing parts. So - save yourself a hassle and don’t purchase Kidkraft products.
