Not an eye sore
I can’t speak to longevity yet. It seems like it will hold up well. It was a serious commitment to assembly. Plan on 4-5 hours. When I read that it took other people that long, I didn’t really believe that would be the case for us. But it was. Take your time with assembling.
This is a nice looking kitchen that will sit in our living room area. I’m surprised how much I like it better than the hard plastic other brands.

Best gift ever!! Says Carter and Loren

Great kitchen
Instructions lack instruction so I turned to YouTube and that made all the difference. Grand kids love it so worth the effort!

Shop around for best price!
I know my granddaughter will love it. I purchased early for Christmas and before it was assembled, I started seeing the same item at significantly lower prices in other retail stores. It would have cost too much to ship it back (that box of MDF is heavy!) so I was stuck. Contacted KidKraft and thought they might at least offer a discount on another item; but no, there was only a standard response that they had no control over what other retailers did. I understand, of course, but my advice is to wait & shop around before ordering directly from KidKraft.
