Fantastic hobby house
The end product is worth the build! The instructions are very exact and as long as you don’t overtighten the screws, the wood stays in tact. Our daughter loves it.

Not Worth the Price
WAY smaller than it looks in pictures, made of extremely soft cedar (my husband said it feels like drilling into styrofoam), there are about a million pieces to assemble (which were missing some labels, so that was fun to figure out), and even with power tools, it takes minimum 4 hours with 2 adults. Some wooden pieces came splintered, cracked, or have knots right through the middle, which means they'll break with the slightest pressure. While this playhouse is SUPER cute and I really want to love it, $550 is just an insane amount to pay for something that probably won't last 2 years. I even bought a cover for it because I don't think it will withstand weather for even a season.

Front door came scratched and paint chipped off
The design is cute. I'm disappointed that a few pieces of wood came cracked and especially disappointed that the cute red door had a deep scratch on it and had paint missing. It was easy to assemble and I imagine my grandson will enjoy his workshop.

Easy to Assemble and a Ton of Activity
We put our Hobby Workshop in the living room and it gives our toddler the perfect location to hide away and work on projects while Mom and Dad are reading or making dinner. He has a ton of storage space to stash books and crayons and balls. Plus there are a lot of fun elements like the crank up door and the bird house (which he's waiting for a bird to land in).
Assembly was easy enough. It took about 4 uninterrupted hours to execute.

Imaginative play
The Hobby Workshop Wooden Playhouse comes in a single box with lots of wooden and plastic pieces and around 200 screws that are needed to be assembled. In order to assemble the playhouse you will need a drill to screw all the parts together. I found it to be a great project to do with my elementary and Junior high kids. It does however take a while to put together. It is a perfect playhouse for a preschooler or young elementary aged kid. My preschooler enjoys the rolling door to add a fourth wall to the playhouse or as he calls his fort.

My kids love their new hobby workshop playhouse! It has lots of room for play and so many activities for them to do. I love the realistic design of a workshop with the cute windows and wood look. There is a workspace center that my kids love to play at and are entertained for hours. This is a great playset and is made with great quality.

Super fun!
The kids love this hobby workshop! They can open the windows and garden, cook, play family, build stuff, etc. It is easy to put together by following the directions and is super stable, sturdy, and safe. I love it and so do the kids!
