Cute but lacks quality control
Although this desk is really cute the quality is not great. A few of the holes were in the wrong places and when the leg of the desk was attached it did not sit straight. The legs were slanted and my husband had to manipulate a few of the holes to make it work the best we could. I had issues previously with 2 other Kidkraft products but decided to give them one more try. I won’t be purchasing anything else from them because there is something always off with their products. I love the look of many of their products but can’t continue supporting a business with continuous quality issues.

Poor packing for shipping
Just looks very nice if it wasn’t all messed up from the way it was packed in the box. Looks like it was a return and people just shoved it in the box all the foam to hold it in place was broken. Pieces are chipped very disappointed. Wanted to add pictures of what the packing looked like but will not let me upload pictures.

Cracked when delivered and holes not in right spot
Had the hardest time assembling this thing as the drill holes were slightly off so things aren’t being screwed in right. There was a big crack in the wood and we made it work but not worth what we paid.

The best gift for my daughter
We love it, good quality, it is strong a little heavy, we have to help our daughter open the table so that she does not get hurt, the assembly was easy only one piece arrived wrong and we had to improvise with another hole nothing that cannot be solved It is an excellent investment for our children, I recommend it 100%

Mounting Not Great
I love the desk. But I believe the way you have it set up to be attached to the wall is wildly dangerous. Someone is going to get hurt.

Overall great design & functional fun!
Pros: easy to assemble with clear instructions, and doesn't take too much time to assemble and hang. It's a french cleat design which is elegant, simple, and sturdy. even though it's heavy, it's easy to fold the desk up and pull it down (see cons below). When it's folded up, the leg stand has two spaces where you can put pictures/artwork for a nice display. Great space for organizing kids' art work and supplies, school materials, etc.
Cons: some of the holes in the pieces did not align, so we had to drill new holes. It's particle board and plywood, not solid wood. It's heavy so it takes adult supervision and practice for a younger child to be able to put up/down independently.

Great wall desk for small room!!
I have one room that we use for my son's playtime. In case more guests come over our house. I have to give that room to them to sleep. This is the best place to put this desk where it does not take any space on the floor and they can open it whenever they want to do crafting, playing or study. This desk also has small shelves where kids can put or hang their pictures or painting. It is very easy to use. It comes with a desk and chair. When Deks close on the wall, there is two space to place a medium-size picture that also looks nice after closing or opening the desk.
Overall, it is a perfect desk and chair set for the kid's room that has less space and it also looks nice. It is a kind of murphy design that saves space from a floor and provides more space to store items on the wall shelving.
