Absolutely Perfect!
I bought the Bancroft for my two boys. It arrived on a pallet and it was very large! I took the time to read the instructions and organize all the pieces and set up my garage as a "workshop" for the next 2 weeks. I was able to construct the entire house myself with little more than a screwdriver and drill. (My husband helped me lift the rood on and move it to the yard.) The instructions were clear, and pieces fit together very well. I have never taken on a project like this before but I had so much fun building it, I decided to add my own spin on the exterior!
The house is roomy enough for 2-3 kids to play in at once. I'm 5"11 and fit inside for kid playtime and I can stand up almost all the way!
Would absolutely buy one of these kits again!

Updated to Perfection!
For starters the box it's delivered in is MASSIVE. Upon opening it, it smells incredible! The scent of pine lingered for days, making putting things together much more pleasant (especially in ridiculous hot then cold then hot again Texas weather).
To start out I organized all the pieces (there are a ton) as they were listed in the very detailed instruction booklet. I painted each and every piece, once dried I assembled what I could in my garage and took it all to the backyard to finish assembling. It came out amazing! I was able to complete everything in a week or so, only working during my daughter's naptime and after bedtime (since it was a gift). Not to mention I was able to assemble it solo over two naptimes while my hubby was at work, I'm currently 6 months pregnant and it was not bad at all. Since everything is made of pine it's light.
We gifted it to her for her second birthday and immediately she fell in love with it, which as every parent knows, makes you love it even more. It's big enough for my husband and I to get in with her, and I can stand up in it all the way (but I'm 5'3, ha).
The only complaint I HAD was the doorbell. I thought it would scare her, it's really abrupt and LOUD, a little assaulting to the ears, but she loves it! Literally ringing it everytime she walks in the door! She loves the shutters the most, as do we, it's a ton of fun! I went ahead and added Velcro to the bottom of both so they'll stay shut when pulled closed (something my daughter was frustrated by until adding the velcro), I also hot-glued ribbon handles to the inside of the shutters as well, so she could close them easily from the inside.
We are so excited to be able to watch her grow and play in this playhouse and to eventually see her and her little brother play in it together too! I highly recommend this playhouse. It's worth every cent, and if you're a extra, like me, it's worth every second you spend making it your version of perfect so you can see your little one(s) absolutely fall in love and get lost in play. Good luck!
PS. We've since added string lights to the outside and inside.
(Both rugs, the greenery, butterflies, little fairies and gnome are all from Amazon, everything else was Target, Walmart or handmade.)

SOOO CUTE!
This is me as a mom living out all my dreams. Everytime i step in it its like im a kid again! It such a cute accessory to our backyard. We have it hidden at the corner or our garden. We have real plants hanging outside of it. Easy to assemble (verified with hubs- he says easy to assemble just do an inventory of parts before you start as he had to call something in - it was overnight ed) anyway- love love love

falls apart quickly
we bought this house last Christmas and nearly every part of it is broken. It did not last more than a year. Also it took a VERY long time to build.
